About Knife Run

Knife Run is a 3D knife runner game. Your runner sprints down a sky-high track with a long blade in each hand, and every knife pickup you run through makes both blades longer. Longer blades slice through more of the crates, barrels and boxes in your way, and they are your bridge too: at the gaps you grab a rail with your blades and slide across.

Keep away from the glowing lava, which melts a set of knives off every second you stand in it, and from the stones, which break a set when you hit them. Every level is a new road built from its level number: knife pickups, things to slice, lava pools across the road, lava lanes with one safe lane, zigzag lava, stones from level 3 and rail gaps in the middle of the road from level 4. Roads get longer and the lava harder as you go, every fifth level is a Coin Rush, and the scenery changes every three levels, from Green Valley and Lava Dunes to Frost Pass and Night Forge. At the end, ride the rails and jump onto the bonus line: the more knives you carry, the bigger the multiplier.

Coins buy real characters to run as (Soldier, Ninja, Sporty, Lifeguard and Zombie), runner colours and three upgrades: Start Knives, Extra Life and Coin Bonus. If you do fail, you can resume right where it happened once per level. Knife Run works on phones, tablets and computers with no download.

How to play Knife Run

1. Tap Start. Your runner sets off along the track on its own.
2. Drag left and right to move across the track.
3. Run through knife pickups to make your blades longer, and slice through anything in your path.
4. Avoid the lava floors and the edges; at gaps, your blades catch the rails and carry you across.
5. Reach the finish with as many knives as you can for a bigger bonus jump.

Tips

• Pick up the knife before each lava pool: crossing lava costs a set of knives every second.
• On lava lanes, find the one clean lane early; the coins usually sit on it.
• Stones break a set of knives on contact, so steer round them even with a full set.
• Stay centred over the rail gaps: drifting to one side drops you off the rails.
• Save knives for the end: every set you carry pushes your jump further up the bonus line.
