About Colorful Merge
Colorful Merge is a merge colours puzzle game played on a small grid of blocks. Slide one block onto the block next to it and the two merge into one, with a colour halfway between them. Keep merging until a single block is left. If that last block matches the level's target colour, the level is complete.
The trick is that order matters. Mixing a dark block into a light one early gives a different result from mixing it in last, so a level with only a handful of blocks can still take some thinking. Quick merges build a combo, and if your last block comes out the wrong shade you can undo your last two moves and try another order instead of starting again. After the ten hand-made boards every level is generated with new colours and a new target, the TARGET swatch shows the colour to make, and getting it right first time earns three stars.
Every finished level pays coins. Spend them in the shop on eight table colours, from cream and mint to night and ink, or on upgrades: Rewind takes back a wrong final mix for free, and Coin Bonus raises level rewards. There are ten levels, after which they come back in a new order while the level number keeps climbing. Colorful Merge runs in your browser on phones, tablets and computers with nothing to download.

How to play Colorful Merge
- Tap Tap to Start.
- Press on a block and drag it onto a block next to it to merge them. The new block takes a mix of both colours.
- Keep merging until one block is left.
- Finish with the target colour to clear the level; if the colour is wrong, undo and try a different order.

Tips
- The block you merge last has the biggest effect on the final colour, so save the colour you need most for the end.
- Drag one square at a time: holding the drag can carry a block on into the next one.
- Use the restart button in the top corner to try a level again from the beginning.
- Rewind is a good first upgrade if you like to experiment, as it saves a level when the last mix goes wrong.
